Monday session will include rappelling, urban climbing

April 22, 2012 — The Salt Lake City Police Department invites reporters to observe SWAT School training tomorrow from 4:30–6:30 p.m.

Known for its rigor and intensity, the Department’s SWAT School is hosting candidates from several law enforcement agencies throughout the week. At 4:30 p.m. tomorrow, they will learn and demonstrate the intricacies of urban climbing and rappelling at the Fire Training Tower, 1600 S. Industrial Road (1900 W)., and reporters are invited.
