October 17, 2012 — The Salt Lake City Police Department invites the media to observe Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training tomorrow from 9–10:30 a.m. at Pioneer Precinct.

The Salt Lake City Police Department is responsible for coordinating and promoting the CIT Program throughout the state. The Department is one of six peer-to-peer learning sites that assist other law enforcement agencies across the country in improving their responses to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
