Witness: Jorge Alfredo Tapia, 21

November 1, 2012 — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s help in finding Jorge Alfredo Tapia, a key witness in the murder investigation of Valentin Sigala Jr., 20.

On October 28, 2012, at approximately 4:55 a.m., Dispatch received a call of shots fired at 1092 Glendale Drive. Police were later called to a local hospital on reports of a deceased gunshot victim who was identified as Valentin Sigala Jr.

Investigators seek to speak with Jorge Alfredo Tapia about the shooting. Tapia is described as:

• male Hispanic adult,
• 21 years old,
• 5 feet 6 inches tall,
• 140 pounds,
• brown eyes,
• black short hair
