SLCPD Releases Sketches of Jewelry Store Robbers

June 13, 2013June 12, 2013 — The Salt Lake City Police Department’s Evidence Unit is preparing to implement its disposal protocol for June. The following is a public notice in that regard and not a public call for the review of lost-and-found items.
The Evidence Unit has items which have been taken into custody that will be destroyed, donated to charitable organizations where possible, or otherwise disposed of, effective June 24, 2013. These items include the following: wallets, backpacks, purses, luggage, bags, sleeping bags, bedding, cell phones with accessories, computers with accessories, DVDs and CDs, eye- and sunglasses, hand and power tools, clothing, bikes, bike parts, miscellaneous personal cards (IDs, DLs, SS cards, etc.), miscellaneous personal papers (birth certificates, letters, registrations, etc.), keys, photos, checks, car/home/portable stereos with accessories, iPods, cameras with accessories, jewelry, knives, guns, gun cases and lock, money, license plates, hair dye, leg brace, binoculars, cologne, paintball gun, day planner, gardening tools, padlock, books, VHS tapes, toilet paper, memory card, journal, and tablet.
Where applicable, SLCPD has made reasonable attempts to contact the owners by U.S. Mail.
