Police Chief, Mayor to Issue Public Safety Challenge at Night Out Against Crime

Night Out Against Crime is an annual event designed to increase public awareness of crime prevention, build bridges between law enforcement and the community, and send the message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back against crime.

Look for SLCPD Officers at the following block parties hosted by community councils Tuesday, August 6, 2013:

  • Westpointe (1201 N. Colonel Rd.), 5-8:30 p.m.
  • Glendale (1313 W. California Ave.), 5:30-9 p.m.
  • East Liberty (1033 S. Lake St.), 6:30-8:30 p.m.
