1-3 p.m. Friday at South Temple and G Street

SALT LAKE CITY— The Salt Lake City Police Department will conduct Operation Safe Crossing Friday afternoon to draw attention to the public safety issues around city crosswalks.

Salt Lake City Motor Officers will conduct the operation near South Temple and G Street from 1-3 p.m. The goal is to educate and raise awareness about safe behaviors for motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians.
