Suspect Sought in University Credit Union Robbery

February 20, 2014SALT LAKE CITY — Following a burglary investigation Tuesday, February 18, 2014, the Salt Lake City Police Department arrested city employee James Wesley Robinson on multiple drug-related and firearms charges.
Investigators developed probable cause and obtained a search warrant, which revealed narcotics, drug paraphernalia, US currency, and firearms. Subsequent to the search, officers then arrested Robinson (8/21/63) and his sons, Alexander Jordan (1/18/93) and Zachary Ryan (3/24/95).
Investigators will meet with the District Attorney’s Office this afternoon to screen the case for formal charges.
An employee of the City Attorney’s Office, James Wesley Robinson has been assigned to represent the police department in civil matters since June 2013.
