SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department requests the community’s help in identifying the suspect(s) or vehicle in these images from the attempted robbery of a business.
Approximately 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2014: While one suspect was a lookout at the front door, the other suspect entered Joyas Robles Inc. at 1133 S. Glendale Drive. That suspect pulled out what the clerk believed to be a handgun, walked around the store briefly and then left. No one was harmed.
Witnesses described suspect #1, who entered the store, as:
• male Hispanic adult,
• 40-50 years of age,
• 5 feet 10 inches tall,
• 200 lbs.,
• gray facial hair,
• wearing a green jacket with dark-green sleeves, a gray hoodie and black pants.
The only description they were able to provide of the lookout was that he or she was wearing a gray hoodie.
