SALT LAKE CITY — Reporters are invited to meet the 12 men and one woman of Recruit Class #132 during its class photo at 8 a.m. Friday morning at Pioneer Precinct.
Recruits Kevin Blue and Brandy Palmer will be available to talk with reporters on behalf of the class, which has spent the last 21 weeks training for this day. Beginning Monday, the newly minted officers will embark on 14 weeks of field training with veteran officers in order to be certified for solo patrol work.
Reporters are invited to stay for the graduation ceremony, which begins with the inspection of graduates at 9 a.m., followed by the oath of office, badge pinning, and awards for physical fitness, top gun, academics and overall achievement.
