SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s help to identify and locate a man suspected of burglarizing a local business.

The suspect broke into Caffe Expresso, 902 S. 1100 E., at approximately 2:30 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2014. Surveillance video shows the suspect smashing the service window and taking bagels and chocolate-covered espresso beans from the counter just inside the window. In doing so, the suspect cut himself and left behind DNA evidence.

Suspect description:

• white male
• late-teens to early-20s in age
• dark hair, medium length
• wearing a denim vest, jeans, white T-shirt, tennis shoes, possibly a shoulder bag
• carrying a skate board
