September 5, 2014Salt Lake City – Organizers of the 2014 Salt Lake Valley Violent Crimes Conference invite reporters to discuss the results of the three-day conference from 8–9 a.m. Friday morning.
More than 220 law enforcement professionals from around the state have been attending the conference to share case studies and best practices on violent crime investigations.
Some of the topics discussed during the conference included bank robberies, drug addiction as a driving force behind crime, and cross-jurisdictional investigations. Salt Lake City Police Det. Matt Evans, conference director, and FBI Special Agent Adam Quirk, associate conference director, will be available to the media.
Reporters will have brief access (b-roll) to the conference room at 9 am.
