Murder Suspect Arrested
SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department has arrested a male believed to be responsible for the murder of 29-year-old Jamie Blalack.
At approximately 1:20 a.m. Sunday, November 2, 2014, a male white adult entered the 7-Eleven at 1157 W. California Avenue. After an argument over cigarettes the suspect was asked to leave the store by the victim. While leaving the store the suspect fired one shot hitting the 29-year-old clerk, Jamie Blalack who died at the scene.
Information from witnesses and tips from the public were obtained quickly. This information led detectives to a motel in Woods Cross where Anthony William Cline, DOB 8-18-1984 was taken into custody without incident.
Anthony William Cline will be booked into the Salt Lake County for the murder of Jamie Blalack.
