May 20, 2015SALT LAKE CITY —The Salt Lake City Police Department has items that have been found or seized, placed into custody, and are being auctioned, destroyed or donated on Monday, May 25, 2015. These items include the following:
Backpacks, purses, bags, clothing, sleeping bags, luggage, bedding, misc personal cards (ss cards, id’s, credit cards etc), misc papers (birth certs, letters, mail, photos, registrations etc.), wallets, keys, bikes, bike parts, Ipod’s, CD’s, desktop and laptop computers with equipment, guns and knives w/accessories, cell phones, chargers, hand and power tools, money, jewelry, jewelry box, license plates, e-cigarettes, perfume, camera’s, wheel chair, eye and sunglasses, home and car stereo’s, gps, mp3 player, auto parts, pepper spray, snowboard, ski’s, ski boots and clothing, cd player, vehicle handbooks, roadside emergency kit, extension cords, projector, torch, airsoft gun, bb guns, remote control, cup, blue ray player, toys, antenna, stroller, cooler, jumper cables, radar detector, laser, tire chain, college books, climbing shoes.
Reasonable attempts have been made to contact the owners where applicable by U.S. Mail.
The Evidence Unit holds lost-and-found and abandoned items no more than 120 days, while property set for disposal from adjudicated cases is no more than 10 years old. If you have reason to believe that property mentioned above may be yours and you have documentation, identification or case numbers to assist in claiming it, please contact the Evidence Unit at (801) 799-3041.
