Free Halloween Fun Fest at the Public Safety Building, Friday, October 30th.

SALT LAKE CITY — It’s that time again to bring your super-hero’s, princesses, and scary monsters to the annual Salt Lake City Halloween party at the Public Safety Building, 475 S. 300 E., for a free Halloween Fun Fest Friday, October 30.
Free and open to the public from 1-4:00 p.m., there will be lots of trick-or-treating and activities for your kids.
There will be plenty of booths for families to visit with and meet police officers, firefighters, Mayor Ralph Becker and a variety of other city departments and partners.
The police department will close 300 East between 400 and 500 South to accommodate the free party, which will include candy and games from the following partners:
- Salt Lake City Police Department: K9s, Motors, Bomb Squad, SWAT, Volunteer Corps, Patrol, Interim Chief Brown
- Salt Lake City Fire Department: ladder trucks with pumpkin toss, firefighters, obstacle course, Chief Dale
- Salt Lake Police Association
- Salt Lake City Mayor’s Office
- City Library, games and activities
- The Leonardo
- Youth City, “Lights On After School”
- Nightmare of 13th
- Natural History Museum of Utah’s “Bug Lady,” aka Christy Bills
- Department of Public Utilities, teach kids about water
- Costco
