SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department will be joined by Mayor Erin Mendenhall and prominent leaders from the community to conduct a policy review panel and listening session. Panel members will review policies regarding use of force, internal investigations, body-worn cameras, conduct standards, etc. The intent is to offer a forum for discussion and feedback directly from the community to Chief Mike Brown.
The media will be invited to be with the panel at the culmination of the discussion. Panelists will be available for a short question and answer session. Because the Public Safety Building is closed due to COVID-19, we ask that you only send one reporter and one photographer to this invitation. Please have your credentials available for security purposes. B-roll of the panel will be provided.
