SLCPD Commemorates Fallen Officers During Police Weekend    

 

SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department will commemorate the 25 fallen officers of the department’s history on Thursday, October 14th, at 2:00 p.m.

The ceremony is normally held in May in conjunction with National Police Week. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was postponed until October.

The SLCPD is committed to preserving its history and commemorating officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving the Salt Lake City community.

Department members and family members of the fallen officers will be attending the ceremony so we can honor their service and sacrifice to the capital city.
