This investigation started at 8:11 p.m. on Friday June 17, 2022 when SLC911 received information about a crash involving a motorcycle and a Chevy Malibu at 1700 South 700 East.

Officers arrived on scene and located a 33-year-old man on the ground with critical head injuries. Paramedics transported the man to a local hospital in critical condition.

The man later died at the hospital.

Based on the preliminary investigation, officers believe the driver of the motorcycle crashed into the passenger side of the Malibu as the driver turned onto 1700 South from 700 East.
