SLCPD Launches TikTok Account

SALT LAKE CITY — Today, the Salt Lake City Police Department announced the creation of its official TikTok account.

Community members are invited to follow @SLCPD on TikTok to get a behind-the-scenes look at officers and professional staff showing off their fun personality through videos.

TikTok continues to grow in popularity. Police departments across the country are sharing funny videos, tips, and important information through the social media’s short video platform.

The department’s TikTok account will also be used as a recruiting opportunity to connect with a new audience of potential employees.

The SLCPD encourages community members to follow the department and to help spread the word by following our account.

The SLCPD’s social media platform includes Twitter, Instagram, Nextdoor, the Neighbors App from Ring and YouTube.
