This investigation started at 2:05 a.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, when SLC911 received information that two people were shot at a hotel located at 230 West 500 South. Salt Lake City patrol officers were in the area and immediately responded. Officers found a 24-year-old man in a wheelchair with a gunshot wound. Officers immediately provided first aid.
