SLCPD Investigating Credit Union Robbery

SALT LAKE CITY — Officers and detectives with the Salt Lake City Police Department are investigating a credit union robbery.

This investigation started at 3:51 p.m. on Monday, September 25, 2023, when SLC911 received information about a robbery that had just occurred at a credit union located at 769 East South Temple.

Officers arrived on scene and confirmed with employees that an unknown person entered the credit union, demanded cash, and then left.

It is not known how much money the suspect got away with.

There were no reported injuries during the robbery.

Officers have checked the area but have not found the suspect.

Officers believe the suspect left the area in a car.

At this point, the suspect’s identity is not known and there is no suspect description to provide.

No further information on this case is being released. Neither the PIO nor the On-Duty Watch Commander are available for interviews.
