SLCPD Provides Update to Officer-Involved-Critical-Incident

SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department is providing an update on an officer-involved-critical incident.

The suspect in this case is identified as 35-year-old Cameron Ammon Cloward.

Furthermore, the SLCPD can confirm the weapon recovered on scene is considered a deadly weapon.

Due to the ongoing investigation, and the need for additional witness interviews to be conducted, the specific type of deadly weapon is not being released.
