SLCPD Requesting Community Help Locating Suspect Who Stole Lamborghini
SALT LAKE CITY — Detectives with the Salt Lake City Police Department’s Auto Theft Unit and Airport Division are requesting help identifying a man who stole a Lamborghini. This investigation started at 6:42 p.m. on Sunday June 9, 2024, when a community member called 9-1-1 and reported their car stolen from the short-term parking lot at the Salt Lake City International Airport. The car stolen is a 2023 blue Lamborghini Urus with a Utah license plate number G829TV. The owner parked the Lamborghini on June 1, 2024. When the owner returned on June 9, 2024, they found the car missing. Based on the preliminary investigation, detectives believe the suspect flew into Salt Lake City on June 3, 2024. The suspect went to the airport’s parking garage and started checking car doors. When the suspect came across the Lamborghini, he found the car unlocked with the keys inside, allowing him to steal the car. The Lamborghini is valued at approximately $234,000. Detectives with the Salt Lake City Police Department’s Airport Division and Auto Theft Unit are asking community members for help.
