Free Bicycle Registration

Instructions:
  • There are many details you can list to help us identify your bicycle, however, only the fields marked with an * are required.
  • The only critical information is the serial number and your contact information so we can identify your bike and then find you.
  • Other very helpful info is the make, style and color. Photos are great (1 of the bike, 1 of the serial number and 1 of your receipt if you have one). Again, this is not required but is helpful.
  • Nearly every bike has a serial number (Carbon Frames may have a small scan code that you need to scan to pull up the serial number). If your bike does not have a Serial number, you should engrave one or put a resilient sticker on your bike with one. The number needs to be unique so use letters and numbers (ensure they are unique, you may use variations of your name, address, phone number or other numbers unique to you…for example: Jones232541521, or SmithSLC80145321521)
  • Most bicycles have the serial number stamped on the frame. Some bikes have multiple numbers on the frame that may be a model number, a facility number and a serial number. The only important number is the serial number. If you have your original paperwork, the serial number is usually easy to find there. If you need help identifying which number is the serial number, you may search the internet for the bike type and serial number location. You can also call a bicycle shop and ask them for help.
