What is the Promising Youth Program?

The Salt Lake City Police Department's Promising Youth Program is a 15-week prevention and intervention program for youth ages 8–18. We work within schools to teach life skills, emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and how to resist negative influences like violence or gangs.

Promising Youth Summer Opportunity (PYSO)

A free, 6-week summer program for youth (ages 12–18) filled with adventure, education, and service. Held Tuesday–Thursday separated into 3-week sessions held in June and July.
