SALT LAKE CITY — If you live, work or play in District 4, the Salt Lake City Police Department will talk crime trends at Salt Lake Roasting Co. during “Coffee with a Cop” next week.
Locally owned and operated since 1981, Salt Lake Roasting Co. will offer a free cup of regular coffee to patrons who speak with an officer from 8-10 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Community Intelligence Officers will be on hand to answer questions the public may have about crime trends or public safety issues in the neighborhood or elsewhere in the city.
“Coffee with a Cop” breaks down barriers and allows for a relaxed, one-on-one interaction between police officers and the public one cup of coffee at a time. For information about hosting this monthly event, please send an email to coffeewithacop@slcgov.com.
