Salt Lake City — The Salt Lake City Police Department and Unified Police Department seeks the public’s help to identify a man detectives believe is the prime suspect in as many as five aggravated robberies.
In all cases a white male adult entered the businesses and acted as if he was a customer, making small talk with the victims. The suspect then threatened them with a knife and demanded money. He left all five robberies on foot.
The man, who appears to be in his 20s, has a heavy build and short brown hair. In most of the robberies, he wore a purple baseball cap with the letters “TCU” and carried a satchel-type bag slung from his shoulders.
Detectives have tied the suspect to the following cases:
- March 18: Seagull Book, 1140 E. Brickyard Rd.
- March 29: Heritage Dry Cleaning, 909 E. 2700 S.
- April 16: Express Cleaners, 2945 E. 3300 S.
- May 29: Ma and Paws, 1227 E. 3300 S.
- July 22: Game Stop, 2263 S. Highland Dr.
