November 15, 2013SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department’s Evidence Unit has items in custody that will be donated, destroyed or otherwise eliminated effective November 23, 2013. These items include the following:
Backpacks, luggage, bags, purses, wallets, bags, briefcase, tote, clothing, bedding, sleeping bags, miscellaneous personal items, credentials (Social Security cards, ID cards, driver licenses, credit and debit cards, passport, etc.), guns, knives, money, jewelry, cell phones with accessories, eye/sunglasses, computers with accessories, keys, hand and power tools, bikes, skateboard, bike parts, DVD/CDs, miscellaneous papers (birth certificates, photos, letters etc.) home and car stereos, cameras with accessories, license plates, books, key box, makeup, cords, toolbox, planner, bags, laundry basket, tarp, books, rare coin, scissors, electric scooter, GPS, squeegee, checks, money orders, wheelchair, seat cushion, games, small personal recorder, binder, cash register tray.
Reasonable attempts have been made to contact the owners where applicable by U.S. Mail.
This is not an open call for the review of lost and found items by the general public. If you believe that you may have an item(s) in the custody of the Salt Lake City Police Department, please contact the Evidence Unit at (801) 799-3041.
