SALT LAKE CITY— The Salt Lake City Police Department will take its “Coffee with a Cop” program on the road this week to talk with residents and businesses about public safety issues in the downtown area.
The weeklong outreach campaign is designed to share crime trends and foster an exchange of ideas about public safety issues in the area. The public is invited to join officers at the following locations each morning from 10 a.m. to noon:
| Tuesday: | 500 West Median (235 S. 500 W.) |
| Wednesday: | Weigand Center (437 W. 200 S.) |
| Thursday: | Pioneer Park, north end (300 S. 300 W.) |
| Friday: | Pioneer Park, south end (400 S. 400 W.) |
“Coffee with a Cop” breaks down barriers and allows for a relaxed, one-on-one interaction between police officers and the public one cup of coffee at a time.
