SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying a man who stole a guitar from a business.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. on June 16, a man entered PPBH, 1706 S. Major Street, and stole a guitar. The suspect, who was riding a mountain bike, entered the business and took the guitar in its case. An employee saw the suspect exiting the business and gave chase without success.
Bearing a red-and-black sticker with the word “Hurst Shifters,” the missing guitar is a red Fender Squire with white pickups, a maple neck, and rosewood fret board. The guitar was in a soft black case.
Suspect Description:
- White male
- 25-35 years old
- Wearing blue-and-white striped shirt, dark shorts, dark tennis shoes, dark baseball cap worn backwards
- Riding a mountain bike
