Police Seek Public’s Help to ID Robbery Suspect
Suspect attempted to disguise himself with women’s clothing, makeup
SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department seeks the public’s help to identify and locate the suspect involved in a bank robbery.
At 6:50 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2014, a man entered the Fresh Market at 2300 E. 2040 S. He walked to the Wells Fargo branch inside the store, demanded money from the teller, and left with an undisclosed sum.
The suspect is described as:
- male white adult
- 5 feet 10 inches tall
- Short black wig
- white knit cap
- blue jeans
- dark colored jacket
- black gloves with three white stripes
- carrying a woman’s purse and wearing women’s makeup
The Police Department asks anyone who may know the identity or location of this suspect to call (801) 799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by text to 274637.
