SALT LAKE CITY — The University Federal Credit Union is offering a $10,000.00 Cash reward for anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect involved in the robbery that occurred on November 18, 2014.
The Salt Lake City Police Department released surveillance video and still pictures in hopes it will prompt tips from the public and lead to identification and apprehension of the suspect who robbed a credit union on November 18, 2014.
The Police Department asks anyone who may know the identity or location of this suspect to call (801) 799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by text to 274637. Case Summary:
At 6:12 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2014, the manager of University Federal Credit Union, 490 E. 500 S., reported that he was confronted by a man brandishing a handgun and what appeared to be an improvised explosive device as he left the building. The suspect forced the manager back into the bank where other employees were still closing for the night. The employees complied with the suspect’s demands and he fled the credit union on foot.
The community should consider the suspect armed, dangerous and possibly still in possession of the IED.
Suspect description:
- Male white adult
- 6 feet tall, 180 lbs.
- Dark pants, olive green hoodie,
- Sunglasses over a green ski mask, heavy gloves.
