SLCPD Seeks Identity of Suspect in Bank Robbery

The Salt Lake City Police Department is requesting the community’s help to identify man who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank.
At approximately 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2015, a man entered the Wells Fargo bank branch at 1710 S. Redwood Road, brandished a weapon and demanded money. The teller complied and the suspect fled south on foot along the west side of Redwood Road.
Detectives have also identified additional video of the suspect at another bank minutes before he robbed the Wells Fargo Bank. The suspect was observed at the Bank of Utah at 2309 S. Redwood Road. Due to the suspect’s actions while at this bank detectives believe this was a failed attempt at robbing the Bank of Utah.
