SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Police Department is investigating a shooting that critically injured an 18-year-old man.

This investigation started at 1:34 a.m. on Sunday, September 10, 2023, when SLC911 received several 9-1-1 calls about a shooting at 909 East 2100 South.

Officers found the victim on the ground and started life-saving efforts. Paramedics took the man to the hospital in extremely critical condition.

Witnesses told police the suspect(s) left in a car in an unknown direction.
